This 13 foot 6 inch Shotgun Sprint hull is one of the oldest on the course. Its builder, Dutch DeRooy, told an interviewer that he thought “that boat would be soda cans by now”. Far from it, this superfast hull captured the 2010 Super Modified points championship piloted by Dillon and Teri Cummings. The powerplant, a Chevy 359 cubic inch monster built by Ed’s Automotive and Machine, drives a 7.5 inch Scott jet pump. Red Line Oil keeps the Jesel valve train humming and Hedman Husler Hedders provide the “song”, while Kirkey Racing Seats protect the driver and navigator. Bodywork and paint by Alderson’s Auto Body and powdercoating by DogHouse Powder Coating give Jeepers Creepers its unmistakable signature on the course.
